Revive

In each of these drawings, I confronted memories that had been difficult to process by returning to a musical track that I had previously avoided due to its association with said memories. While listening to the track, I moved the pen in a stroke (in direction, intensity, and pulse) corresponding with each moment in the music.  Each drawing served as a therapeutic exercise to reconnect to drawing, to my memories and view of past and current self, and to the freedom of expression.
